The Gosforth-based charity which was formed in 2007, has been chosen by organisers of the race, which is a first for Newcastle and features ten huge inflatable obstacles which participants have to navigate their way through.

View the full article hereA day of music is being held this weekend in Liverpool to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care, after a fund was set up in memory of city teenager Erick Maina.
The event from 10am to 9pm is to launch “Music for Maina” a CD recorded over Easter at Liverpool Lighthouse in Anfield, the UK’s first dedicated urban gospel arts centre, where Erick and his family were regular visitors.
