1914 Snowdon Mountain Railway visitors book is revealed

Passengers on Snowdon Mountain Railway at the time of the First World War have been revealed following the discovery of its original visitor books.

The owners of the railway, the only one of its kind in the UK, decided to make the books contents public to mark the hundredth anniversary of the outbreak of the Great War in 1914.

An archaeological dig at Land’s End has brought two Merseyside heritage specialists together to launch a new tourist attraction at the historic landmark.

Lord Mayor launches Anfield youth music project

The Lord Mayor of Liverpool, launched a new youth music project for young people across the city after a charity in Anfield was awarded £90,000.

Councillor Erica Kemp, local MP Steve Rotheram and other guests were treated to a showcase of local talent at Liverpool Lighthouse.
