Families with young children are in for a treat this half-term as a pop-up farm is coming to Lightwater Valley for February half-term.
Selected rides and attractions at the North Yorkshire theme park will be open to customers during the six-day half-term event, which is designed to appeal to those aged eight and under.

Flip Out, Southampton’s biggest trampoline park, has launched a programme of work out sessions to encourage people across the region to get active.
The new ‘Flip Fit’ classes, which are aimed at adults, are run by qualified trampoline fitness instructors and will take place four times a week.

West Lancashire financial firm Acumen has added to its growing team with the appointment of a new financial planning executive.
Joanne Wilden, DipPFS, joins the independent financial advisers from Charles Stanley in Liverpool and becomes Acumen’s second appointment in a 12-month period which also saw the firm move to new premises in Burscough and break the £100m barrier for funds under management.

Boxed Off signed off 2016 in festive style by working with LoveHistory and St George’s Hall in Liverpool to launch their seasonal show ‘The Ghosts of Christmas Past’.
Focusing on the darker, spookier parts of Charles Dickens’ classic ghost story ‘A Christmas Carol’ the event included a tour of the catacombs beneath the Grade-I listed hall and was aimed at scaring the Dickens out of visitors.

A North West school has become the first organisation to benefit from the installation of a revolutionary low-energy IT server, designed in Merseyside.
Bedford Drive Primary in Birkenhead completed a £5m eco-friendly rebuild over the summer and, as part of the development, entirely overhauled their computer systems.
