Newly refurbished Penwith Studios open in time for autumn getaways

Land’s End has completed a £300,000 investment in new luxury accommodation.

Formerly known as Penwith House and originally a Victorian-era Temperance Hotel, Penwith Studios has been restored and converted into four en-suite rooms overlooking Cornwall’s Westernmost point.

Originally built in 1860 to provide a healthy retreat within a natural setting, Penwith Studios aims to offer its guests a similarly revitalising stay.

David Bryans, general manager at Land’s End Landmark, said:

“We’re thrilled with this new development and we’re sure our guests will be too.

“These new rooms each have a distinctive character and offer stunning Atlantic views, making for a memorable visit to this iconic Cornish landmark.

“The studios will be available year-round, with their opening arriving just in time for those looking for a relaxing autumn break set amidst our wild and romantic coastal landscape.

“Thanks to this latest investment, we can now offer a new level of comfort and exclusivity to visitors wishing to explore the striking scenery and unique history of this stunning location.”

Nathan Harvey, Hotel Manager at the Land’s End Hotel, also commented:

“Our aim with Penwith Studios was to combine the comfort and convenience of a hotel stay, with the exclusivity of an apartment break.

“Land’s End Hotel’s restaurant and bar area is just a stone’s throw away, while the rooms offer extra touches of privacy and luxury, such as an exclusive courtyard garden for whiling away autumnal afternoons or enjoying evening sunsets.”
