Energising technology firm ELe by raising public awareness

Objectives

Energising public awareness of ELe and its technologies, Boxed Off was engaged to help award-winning North West energy technology firm Extreme Low Energy (ELe) publicise their innovative products to attract potential investors.

ELe designs and implements bespoke DC-power infrastructures for organisations across the UK and overseas. The prize-winning technologies can power lighting, computers, CCTV and more, providing huge potential energy savings to new homes and businesses adopting the tech.

These products can also integrate with renewable energy sources to create off-grid power solutions, attractive to growing markets around the globe.

The firm had a number of projects about to come to fruition and were planning to grow the business. They required the assistance of Boxed Off to help share their good news with local press, business media and trade publications during a time of potential expansion and even relocation.

Results

During the following 12 months, Boxed Off produced regular press releases for ELe highlighting significant new appointments within the firm, successful projects, accolades and awards.

The releases were distributed to targeted media outlets including local press, regional business media and technology, computing and energy trade publications.

Boxed Off worked with The University of Manchester to produce a press release relating to product testing by the university’s scientists on a revolutionary ELe battery. We also helped publicise the expansion and relocation of the company from its Merseyside base to larger premises in Skelmersdale.

In total we achieved over 60 pieces of coverage in the likes of Lancashire Evening Post, Southport Visiter and Skelmersdale Champion; The Business Desk, Move Commercial, Business Lancashire and Bdaily, plus trade publications Energy Live News, Energy & Environment Management and Solar & Power Management.

Coverage highlights included a page lead in the Formby Champion newspaper, a piece in the Liverpool Echo’s monthly Business Post publication, a feature in Energy Manager Magazine and a 30-minute radio interview with North Manchester FM.
