Sennen’s First & Last Inn is holding its very first ‘Beer & Food Festival’.
The culinary event, taking place this bank holiday weekend, offers locals and holidaymakers alike the opportunity to sample superb cuisine alongside some of the best booze from the region.
Talented head chef Adam Davis and his team will be preparing delicious dishes across the weekend, all washed down with a huge selection of local beers, ales and ciders.
Head chef Adam said:
“Following the opening of the new look First & Last Inn earlier in the year, we thought it would be a great idea to host a celebration of quality food and drink.
“It’s an opportunity to sample the best beers and ciders the South West of England has to offer, while I prepare Spanish paella, American smokehouse BBQ and a delicious hog roast to enjoy alongside.”
Jon Egerton, general manager at First & Last Inn, said:
“We’re looking forward to welcoming people from across the region to our culinary celebration.
“Food will be available from 12 noon each day from Friday to Sunday, while the beer, ales and ciders are available from 12 noon right across the bank holiday weekend, plus there’s live music from 9pm on Saturday.”

Snowdon Mountain Railway has announced a weekend of celebrations this September to mark its 120th anniversary.
It is 120 years since trains first took passengers from the village of Llanberis to the summit of Wales’ highest peak, so the railway has organised three days of fun at its Llanberis station.

Visitor numbers to Lightwater Valley were boosted after a visit by children’s TV presenter Andy Day.
Hundreds of families streamed through the gates of the theme park in Ripon to catch Andy’s ‘Dino Raps’ show, which was hailed as a great success.

Council leaders in St Helens have welcomed a £1m investment by leisure firm Air Factory which is opening the town’s first trampoline park next month.
The council’s support comes as the company prepares to launch the 21,000 sq ft attraction in Lea Green.
