The influential IFA behind North West financial advisers Acumen is looking towards a year of consolidation after a period of outstanding growth.

Angela Maher founded Acumen in 2006 and has since seen the company build solidly and successfully, achieving record growth of over 60% in the last 18 months, while increasing its total active clients to over 950.

Record year for Simply the Best Events as 100,000 people visit The Labyrinth Challenge

Simply The Best Events (STBE), home to The Labyrinth Challenge, the world’s longest continuous inflatable obstacle course, has enjoyed a record year after 100,000 people visited the touring attraction.

STBE which is based in Berkshire and delivers more than a thousand events every year, has announced that a new Labyrinth Challenge course is returning this summer which is also available for exclusive hire.

Merseyside youth invited to join new work readiness scheme

Young people from Merseyside attended an Open Morning at Mattel Play! Liverpool to hear more about joining a new programme teaching them about the world of work. 

Mattel Play! has joined forces with the Albert Dock Charity to help teenagers with additional needs gain knowledge and confidence within the workplace by joining a six-week ‘work readiness’ scheme, delivered in partnership with Merseyside Youth Association’s Talent Match.
