A new menu has been launched at Mattel Play! Liverpool following feedback from customers.
Thousands of families have already visited the interactive fun centre since it opened its doors in March.
Having listened to visitors’ thoughts, Mattel Play! Liverpool has widened the choice of hot food available within the attraction, and improved its selection of sandwiches, paninis and salads.
A new catering manager, Rowena Jackson, has also been appointed to lead the café staff, joining from Oakmere Community College in Walton.
Zachary Kendall, commercial manager at Mattel Play! Liverpool, said:
“Mattel Play! Liverpool has welcomed thousands of visitors since opening in March and we’ve listened to their thoughts on the attraction.
“People told us they wanted more hot food so we’ve introduced healthy pasta dishes with a daily choice of sauces, plus exciting dishes from around the world which will also change each day.
“The café is free to enter for all customers, even if they’re not planning to visit the attraction’s themed zones and play area.”
Based within Albert Dock Liverpool, Mattel Play! Liverpool invites children to explore and enjoy three themed zones featuring iconic characters and locations familiar to fans of Thomas & Friendsᵀᴹ, Bob the Builderᵀᴹ and Fireman Samᵀᴹ.
It is the first attraction of its kind in Europe and, along with the café, offers a retail area, party rooms and a green screen experience.
